I was able to exhibit some of my photographs in my mother’s home town of Suhl, which is a city in Thuringia, Germany. Together with its northern neighbour-town Zella-Mehlis, Suhl forms the largest urban area in the Thuringian Forest.
I was delighted to be able to showcase several of my New Zealand landscapes and portraits, including shots of some of my favourite beaches at Piha, Muriwai and Manukau Heads. I was also able to share some of the unique culture events we enjoy in Auckland, such as the Lantern Festival, Pacifika and Matariki.
The photographs are being housed at Suhl council’s Stadtwerke building, and will remain on show to the public until Christmas.
